What Is ASEDE?

Atlanta Socio-Economic Development Exchange (ASEDE®) is our yearly business and trade forum held in Metro Atlanta, GA focused on presenting Sub-Saharan African countries investment and trade opportunities in the US in general and Georgia in particular. This forum consists of presentations by US Government Agencies and private organizations focused on encouraging foreign domestic investment by facilitating trade.

What Are the Goals of ASEDE?

Our main goal is to be the “One stop shop for building joint ventures and promoting investment and trade opportunities for Sub-Sahara African countries.”

We will also strive:

· To create a platform to educate and assist participants on how to develop their projects and provide various options related to financing and partnerships.

· To provide business insight to overseas investors.

· To secure partnerships both on the social side and economic end.

What at the Benefits of ASEDE?

Bridging the gap:

Physical, cultural and linguistic barriers have for long prevented business relations between Africa and America. This initiative constitutes the perfect bridge for contacts, communication and business intelligence.

Training:

To train participants on how to develop their projects with international perspectives and how to prepare financial documents for investors and banks in the U.S. This is also a platform to educate participants on U.S. Organizations and how business is conducted in the U.S. by focusing on:

ASEDE allows investors and entrepreneurs to meet and develop better ways to secure funding with the appropriate guaranties. ASEDE will leverage its large network of venture capitalists and angel investors to open doors on both side of the Atlantic.
